Craig Morrison Little Cowboys is beginning to take the Australian country music scene by storm.

The Little Cowboys made their debut appearance and won the 2007 Australian Country Music Battle of the Bands competition in Rockhampton.

About a year before the Little Cowboys were officially established, Craig spent about three months in Nashville, Tennessee, where he took the opportunity to mix with the locals and soak up the incredible music culture.

Taking advantage of the prize winnings, Little Cowboys spent the first weeks of January recording their debut CD at Cre-8-Sound Recording Studio in Yeppoon, Qld.

After the recording, Little Cowboys flew directly to Brisbane to perform with Tania Kernaghan at Australia’s largest rodeo event the APRA NFR Bull Riding International and Country Music Spectacular. 

The Friday night show was such a hit with dancing fans, they were asked to stay and open for Shea Fisher and Steve Forde on the Saturday evening. They left the 2500 fans screaming for more.

In January this year, Little Cowboys took out the Toohey’s New Country Music Challenge – Band Search 2009 (a competition the placed second in the year before) and second place in the Northern Daily Leader Battle of the Bands.
